This amazing shot owes it's existence to pure luck! On a drive back to Connecticut we got detoured off the highway right in the heart of DC. Excited and completely lost, my wife and I decided to park the car and walk around our nation's capitol for the first time in our lives. I plan on visiting Washington DC again in the future in order to really give this city what it deserves!
I hope to one day redo this shot as it is now apparent a full 270 degrees would really make this panorama stand out. Either way a keen eye can make out the Capitol Building, White House, and Lincoln Memorial.
